The Role: Essential to a Clean and Safe Bakery

At Bakkerij Braas, hygiene and food safety are essential to everything we do. As a Facilities Employee, you play an important role in maintaining a clean, organised and professional working environment throughout our bakery.

You are responsible for ensuring that offices, staff facilities and communal areas are cleaned and maintained to a high standard. Thanks to your efforts, colleagues can work safely and comfortably, while we continue to meet the strict quality and food safety standards that apply within our industry.

What Will You Do?

• Clean offices, staff canteen, changing rooms, sanitary facilities, hygiene entrances and our on-site gym on a daily basis.

• Work according to cleaning schedules, work instructions and hygiene procedures.

• Identify and report cleaning, hygiene or maintenance-related issues.

• Manage inventories of cleaning products and consumable supplies.

• Ensure proper storage and organisation of cleaning materials and equipment.

• Collaborate with colleagues from Production, Quality and Facility Services to maintain a clean and professional working environment.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience in cleaning activities, preferably within a production environment or the food industry.

• Knowledge of hygiene standards and cleaning products.

• A strong eye for cleanliness, quality and attention to detail.

• An independent and proactive working attitude.

• Good command of Dutch and/or English, both spoken and written.

• Physically capable of carrying out cleaning activities.

• Accurate, reliable and responsible in the execution of your work.

• A team player who contributes positively to the working environment.

• A strong awareness of safety and compliance with workplace regulations.

• Availability for a minimum of 30 hours per week.
