The Role: The Link Between Production and Logistics

As a Distribution Employee at Bakkerij Braas, you are responsible for sorting, checking and preparing bakery products for shipment to our customers. You ensure that the right products reach the right destination at the right time and contribute directly to reliable delivery performance.

You will work closely with colleagues from Production, Packaging, Warehouse and Transport. Thanks to your attention to detail, deviations are identified quickly and the distribution process runs smoothly.

What Will You Do?

• Sort and distribute bakery products according to orders, route information and work instructions.

• Check quantities, products and destinations.

• Identify and report deviations, damage or quality issues.

• Ensure the correct processing of products within the distribution process.

• Support the preparation of orders for transport.

• Record operational issues and deviations according to procedures.

• Work in accordance with HACCP, IFS, quality, safety and company procedures.

• Maintain a clean and organised workplace.

• Collaborate with colleagues from Production, Packaging, Warehouse and Transport to achieve daily operational targets.

• Contribute to improvements within distribution and logistics processes.

• Working in shifts between 06:00-14:00 and/or 14:00-22:00.

What We Are Looking For

• MBO working and thinking level.

• Experience in logistics, production or warehousing is preferred.

• Accuracy and attention to detail.

• Ability to maintain overview and set priorities.

• Physically capable of performing standing work.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

• Awareness of safety, hygiene and food safety standards.

• Good command of the Dutch language.

• Availability for 24 to 38 hours per week.
