Maintenance Technician (30-38 Hours per Week)

The Role: Essential for Reliable Production

As a Maintenance Technician at Bakkerij Braas, you are responsible for maintaining, inspecting, improving and repairing our production lines, machinery and technical installations.

You will work in a technically challenging environment with modern production lines, conveyor systems, ovens, packaging equipment and automated installations. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that production processes remain safe, reliable and efficient.

In addition to resolving breakdowns, you focus strongly on preventive maintenance and minimising downtime, directly contributing to operational continuity.

What Will You Do?

• Perform preventive maintenance on machinery, installations and production lines.

• Diagnose, analyse and resolve mechanical and electrical breakdowns.

• Carry out inspections and technical checks.

• Replace, repair and overhaul parts and components.

• Test and commission equipment after maintenance activities.

• Record maintenance activities, spare parts usage and findings in Ultimo.

• Identify technical risks, abnormalities and improvement opportunities.

• Contribute to equipment and maintenance process improvements.

• Collaborate with Production, Packaging, QHSE and fellow technicians to maximise equipment availability.

• Work according to safety, quality and food safety standards.

What We Are Looking For

• MBO working and thinking level in a technical discipline.

• A completed education in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field.

• Experience within a technical role in an industrial production environment.

• Knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems.

• Experience with preventive maintenance and fault analysis.

• Affinity with maintenance management systems, preferably Ultimo.

• Strong technical and problem-solving skills.

• Independent, accurate and structured working style.

• A proactive attitude with a focus on improvement.

• Good command of the Dutch language.

• Willingness to work in shifts.
