The Role: The Technical Backbone of the Production Process

As a Production Operator at Bakkerij Braas, you are responsible for setting up, monitoring and adjusting production lines within our bakery. You ensure that the production process operates safely, efficiently and in accordance with the required quality standards.

Working with modern production lines and equipment, you play a key role in maintaining product quality, food safety and operational continuity. Thanks to your technical expertise and proactive mindset, you are able to identify and resolve deviations before they impact the production process.

What Will You Do?

• Set up, start up and change over production lines.

• Monitor and adjust production processes and machine settings.

• Perform quality checks on products, raw materials and process parameters.

• Identify, analyse and resolve production process deviations.

• Carry out first-line maintenance and basic technical tasks.

• Resolve minor equipment issues and involve Technical Services when more complex support is required.

• Monitor the availability of raw materials, packaging materials and production resources.

• Record production data, quality measurements and operational deviations.

• Work in accordance with HACCP, IFS, quality, safety and company procedures.

• Actively contribute to process improvements and waste reduction initiatives.

• Collaborate closely with colleagues from Production, Packaging, Quality Assurance, Production Planning and Technical Services to ensure smooth daily operations.

What We Are Looking For

• MBO working and thinking level, preferably in a technical or production-related field.

• Experience as an Operator within a production environment.

• Experience within the food industry is preferred.

• Technical aptitude and affinity with automated production lines.

• Strong attention to quality, accuracy and food safety.

• The ability to independently analyse and resolve operational issues and deviations.

• A proactive attitude and a strong sense of ownership for your production line and results.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

• Good command of the Dutch language.

• Willingness to work in a shift-based operation.
